Fire Detection

Fire Alarm panels

Fire Alarm panels are of 2 types, Basic Conventional type and advanced Addressable system. Conventional types of panels come in zones, whereas the Addressable come in loops. Conventional panel indicates the zone / area where any incident is detected, whereas the addressable give an exact location of the smoke detector where any smoke is detected.

Conventional types are for residential buildings or small offices and common areas of buildings. The Addressable are for sophisticated premises and commercially big premises for easy and accurate monitoring

Hooters and Flashers

The sounder / hooter on getting information from panel warns or alerts the ocupants of the premises.

These are installed generally at roofs of building to alert the occupants. It has siren of high decibel level, which can be heard at long distances. It is for vast areas like Malls, Factories and Hospitals.

Sirens

These are installed generally at roofs of building to alert the occupants. It has siren of high decibel level which can be heard at long distances. It is for vast areas like Malls, Factories & Hospitals

Smoke and Heat detector

The smoke / heat detectors sense smoke / heat and relay to panel to alert occupants of any fire or heat.

Properly installed and maintained, residential smoke alarms are one of the best and least expensive ways to provide an early warning when a fire begins. Smoke alarms save lives, prevent injuries and minimize property damage by alerting residents early to a fire hazard.

Kidde battery powered smoke alarms offer an inexpensive and easy way to protect house that aren't pre-wired with an interconnected system. The battery power continues to work during a power outage if they have been replaced regularly. Battery powered alarms can be installed easily and all models include a test.

Beam Detectors

Beam detectors are installed for detecting fire by means of smoke in areas where installing smoke and heat detector is difficult like high ceilings in warehouses, theatres, and auditoriums. The smoke from the fire interferes the ray of beam and alerts the occupants. In this an emitter and receptor are used. These are installed at height and in wide areas.

Manual Call Point

These are devices, which are generally installed near the Entrance and Exit doors and inside the premises to alert occupants in case of fire. These devices are manually activated by breaking the glass or sheet to alert occupants in case of fire to seek help or draw attention to fire.
